The Great Comic Book Conundrum
During the latter (diminishing) stages of the Tyrone project (The Clonosaur Adventures) it was decided that one or more comic books (graphic novels) represented the real opportunity for all future endeavors. The internet was becoming more interactive and contacts with other artists who were eager to get involved in established projects, were relatively easy to find. And cheap to hire. In the end, the whole program itself proved to be too cumbersome of an undertaking and was fast becoming its own dinosaur. Contributing to the situation was the fact that, by this time, I already had one foot out the door, and Len would soon be left to pursue our final strategy entirely on his own. I did promise to reenter the fray if and when he achieved some level of success -- wasn't that big of me? I'm not so sure Len would agree -- then or now.
Properly executing a quality graphic novel, even back then, was a major undertaking with lots to both learn and to do. But with Len and I both working at other jobs at the same time, the coordination, expenses, and production of a finished work -- complete with story and illustrations -- was ultimately an unachievable challenge. At least it was for me, and in the end, I just plain ran out of fossil fuel. Len, God bless him, continued on for some period of time, but it was never the same. The project was daunting for two energetic souls, let alone one. The rest, as they say, is prehistory.
Under other circumstances -- by today's standards especially -- I think the graphic novel approach (Len's idea entirely) was the right course of action. It should have been doable. At the time, we were just a little too early, perhaps, with a little too much work that still needed doing. One of the reasons, however, for resurrecting the project as displayed on these pages, is to woo some knowledgeable entrepreneur who might see the strong potential that yet exists. A hundred pages of written text and drawings filled with numerous other marketing and merchandizing concepts still sit in ringed binders waiting to be exhumed. A complete and detailed description for a video game as mentioned earlier, is ready for immediate review. Pages of verbiage describe and outline a fully novelized version of the total story of The Clonosaur Adventures. In addition, the entire past and present roles of the three Dinobytes are explained and integrated into the story as a whole.
These things are referenced here not because Len and I anticipate some kind of sudden influx of interest or accompanying funds, but more for the purposes of a new and satisfying sense of closure. Previously buried and visible to no one, the bulk of the Tyrone project is now established for posterity until such time that this website no longer exists. And even then, someone else will be delegated as caretaker of the immense amount of material that should remain viable in virtual perpetuity. One good thing about working with dinosaurs (and bugs) is that one needn't be too concerned over their becoming extinct.

The Attack will never end.
