Welcome to the

The four separate departments listed above are designed to be perused in the order as shown. They also appear along the top menu bar in the same sequence. While all the major departments can be viewed, explored, and read in any succession, the drop-down menu selections below each main heading unfold (in most cases) in a specifically ordered manner complete with page numbers. Every section is otherwise an independent, unrelated world unto itself.
The virtual store shelves of DRAGONOMICON present the six, author-illustrated fantasy novels written by me, Robert Anton. Possibly of particular interest to visitors of this department are the numerous illustrations and other artistic items created exclusively for the literary works found here. Many of the gallery-style posters and prints on display are available for purchase. All of my eBooks are currently available in Amazon’s Kindle store.
Via more of my original artworks, the mall galleries of ASTRONOMICON take siteseers on an imaginative voyage into the uncharted depths of the Cosmos. Presented for viewers’ enjoyment and entertainment are this department’s multitude of thought-provoking images of extraterrestrial landscapes, seascapes, and deep-space panoramas of nebulas and galaxies. Most of the small, digitized “paintings” are also available for separate purchase.
NOUMENOMICON is primarily a literary source of old and new philosophic writings, essays, opinion pieces and other prose I have written over the years. Often serious, sometimes humorous, I like to ramble on about a variety of themes that reflect upon (or are a result of) the so-called human condition. There's also some stuff on extraterrestrials, but I don't claim to know much about the alien condition.
Last of the emporium’s main departments is IMAGINOMICON, a sort of catch-all store that posits its own gallery of still more of my original art pieces -- many of them produced before the advent of home computers. Unrelated to any particular subject matter, the displayed works are largely random samples of paintings and drawings rendered twenty to thirty years ago – prior to when I took to writing and illustrating my novels as a full time endeavor.
A number of the images shown are also experimental in nature, where the computer was (finally) used as an artistic tool to enhance, modify, and bring to the surface many of the otherwise hidden potentials of a specific work. Also on exhibit are artworks by other artists with links to their websites or Facebook pages. Plus there's stuff on the history of movies, including my personal recommendations, and other things I've lost track of. The site is obviously out of control. As well as its operator.
The remainder of the mall’s virtual selection of miscellaneous shops, stores, lesser departments and other areas, are listed under the Directory tab, Staff Room, or Lounge. If you want to know more about me, the philosophy behind the madness, just say hello, or see pictures of my two rescue cats, these are the places to go and visit. Thanks again for dropping by and stay as long as you like. If you see something you like, it’s probably for sale. Or was going to be. If you absolutely can't live without it, however, we can always work something out.

A Quick Word about Navigating in and around DRAGONOPOLIS
It's actually very easy to navigate among the many "stores" of DRAGONOPOLIS as well as the emporium's many other departments. Don't be put off by the seeming complexity of all these different sections and galleries. Almost every page has its own blue navigation buttons located either at the top or bottom of the page. Sometimes both. By clicking on these links you can jump to the next page, go back to the previous page, or return to the very top of the page where all the main menu items are again selectable. Additionally, the Table of Contents for each department contains separate buttons that jump to every page listed for that department. I tried to cover all the bases, but unless you're an octopus playing baseball, it's hard to know whether visitors will take the tediously laborious time necessary to see how easy I've made things for them.
Feeling a bit light-headed?
An important health tip for all our patrons
Although the air inside the DRAGONOPOLIS galleria is filtered and heated to a comfortable seventy-two-degrees Fahrenheit (22-degrees Celsius), the atmosphere outside the high-altitude mall is cold and thin. The stratosphere at 20,000 feet is a chilly minus-twenty-degrees Fahrenheit (-29 Celsius). If at any time you feel short-of-breath, dizzy, or faint, please avail yourself of these special inhalers which are offered free-of-charge to first-time shoppers.*
Oxygen inhalers (OI's) are both affordable and available to all DRAGONOPOLIS patrons. Ask any of our friendly stewards for assistance. Inhalers come in your choice of unscented, pine, sea-spray, or mint.

Manufactured by Bic, the same company who put a personal lighter into the pocket of every teenager, the Oxy-Pure model-01 personal inhaler comes in seven different colors: Blue, White, Green, Pink, Cranberry, Black, and Red. Scented versions also leave your breath feeling (and smelling) as fresh as a springtime morning. Since oxygen levels in the mall are about half that of sea-level, shoppers are encouraged to have one (or more) of our inhalers on hand at all times.
Each dispenser is 100% sterile and individually wrapped for your convenience and protection. Regularly selling @ $19.95, the single-use Bic Oxy-Pure inhaler delivers a refreshing, uplifting breath of pure oxygen any time, anywhere.
Please note that all our oxygen inhalers and related paraphernalia are manufactured exclusively in the USA. Interestingly, China is the largest importer of these quality, American-made products. Warning: Absolutely no OI’s are allowed in either Ye Olde Cigar Shoppe or its adjacent smoking parlor. Thank you for your cooperation. * One per customer. |
